Now that many of us are vaccinated we're feeling like we can't wait to get away this summer or at a minimum, this coming fall. As countries begin to open up, we start thinking to ourselves…Is it too soon? Should we go? Where should we go?

One of the best trips I’ve had in recent years was with my sisters and our daughters. I am one of four girls in our family and we each have a son and daughter. Because we are 4 girls in 5 years, our daughters are relatively close in age and now is a perfect time to travel together. We took a late winter / early spring trip to Paris and stayed in an amazing authentic Paris apartment with an unbelievable view of the Eiffel Tower.

I’ve been to Miami many, many times with kids, girlfriends, my husband and other couples. Over the years, I have seen an amazing revitalization of the South Beach area. When I first visited SoBe, I stayed down on oceanfront Collins Avenue close to the Lowes Hotel. Most recently I’ve moved my home base north on Collins, to try out some fabulous newer hotels.

Italy is a country I’ve come to know and and to love, and have fond memories of the trips I’ve taken there. Our last trip there was with friends to the Tuscany region, Lake Como and Venice. It was a fabulous 10-day excursion that began in a two-bedroom villa in a farmhouse located on a centuries old wine estate outside of Florence , which turned out to be a perfect homebase for exploring the Tuscan hillside.
